Inaugural maas centre for fashion ball
The inaugural MAAS Ball in Sydney -February 1 at the Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences
Our wonderful Honour Julie Bishop Minister for Foreign Affairs spoke for all to listen to some amazing fashion stories developing in Australia with new fashion talent. The MAAS Ball fundraiser for the Australian Fashion Fund will help with keeping the museum stocked up with our designers clothing
Excitement hit us when we found out Australia had some hidden fashion corner where we could see the latest fashion looks, spot the fashion icon and see what the museum had planned along with the talents of the creative fashion industry.

When we walked into the museum you couldn’t miss ‘Museum of the Moon’, an artwork by UK artist Luke Jerram. It struck some serious high notes, just like the actual moon it was hard to look away or even take some iconic shots of it.

Australia has some serious talent and now thanks to the Centre for Fashion we can place a fashion timeline inside our museum..

A fabulous menu was created by Merivale chef John Wilson & with Fred’s head chef Danielle Alvarez
A ray of sponsors involved Moët & Chandon, Grey Goose vodka & Bird in Hand wines
The vibe was fresh & there was a feeling of nostalgia amongst us.
Year by Year we have another mile stone to look forward to. Australian Fashion Houses!
