Tonight was the Sydney Premier of Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty, the series is about an American sports drama television series that is was created by Max Borenstein and Jim Hecht.

The sunshine decided to hit Sydney just in time for the launch and it was very welcomed. The launch was set in Vaucluse, Sydney, with Binge where a variety of cast and entertainers hit the red carpet to support the series.

The series consists of 10 episodes, the main focus being on Earvin “Magic” Johnson played by Quincy Isaiah

It was based on the book Showtime: Magic, Kareem, Riley, and the Los Angeles Lakers Dynasty of the 1980s by Jeff Pearlman.

The first season chronicles the 1980s Showtime era Los Angeles Lakers basketball team featuring notable NBA stars Magic Johnson and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

Some of the Cast: Quincy Isaiah, John C. Reilly, Jason Clarke, Gaby Hoffmann and Adrien Brody.
