Mariam Seddiq is an Australian born fashion designer, her family come from Afghanistan. Mariam is known for her bold and innovative designs that often incorporate intricate beading and embroidery. Her collections are characterized by strong silhouettes, rich colors, and luxurious fabrics. Many of her pieces are statement pieces that can be dressed up or down and worn for a variety of occasions.

In 2022 at Afterpay Australian Fashion week Mariam designed with her team unique fabrics that she used on her runway collection. These designs have made her looks iconic.

In 2023 Mariam did even more, the beading and intense structure of her pieces really surprised her Runway VIP as seen in the video below.

With the craziness of backstage, it’s addictive to us, we love seeing the passion and determination of make-up artists, hair dressers and models getting it together and creating a vibe that is original to Mariam Seddiq.

One of the standout features of Mariam Seddiq’s clothing is the attention to detail that goes into each piece. Her use of intricate beading and embroidery adds a level of complexity and depth to her designs that is truly impressive. The quality of the materials used in her clothing is also exceptional, with a focus on luxurious fabrics such as silk, velvet, and satin.

Mariam Seddiq’s designs are also known for their versatility. While many of her pieces are statement pieces that make a bold statement, they can also be dressed down and worn for more casual occasions. This versatility makes her clothing a great investment for anyone looking to add some unique and versatile pieces to their wardrobe.

Mariam has taken Australian fashion to where it should be heading, with so much competition with Europe and American styles, we are proud to call her our own!

Palazzo Parisio

Palazzo Parisio in Naxxar Malta

Walking into the Palazzo, I felt history ease into me, first the lobby of massive paintings of the Royal Family that had lived there then the garden that was like walking into a Pride and Prejudice movie.

But what really bought me to tear…literally. Was a staircase to my history. At the time of some amazing staircases was two Knights watching over the Palazzo & guarding it well.

As i walked into the room on the right my biggest dreams came to life…a room of mirrors, chandeliers & more rooms of where the Royal family had lived.

It wasn’t just set up for night like a wedding, nothing was new even though it was well maintained. The walls still had the natural wallpaper, the floors spoke of previous dances and where the Royals spoke.

There are many places in the world where there is Culture but here I felt presence, I felt love & I felt a great deal of history developing in-front of me room by room.

I even got to capture the Wedding Dress of the one of the family members. Uncanny how you can travel and find existence of another world to tear you up.

Love you with all my heart Malta

Eymeric Francois. Paris, France

Designer Eymeric Francois. Paris, France

In 2016 I was honoured not to had just captured Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Malta with Adrian Mizzi and all the amazing local designers but also Eymeric Francois.

Eymeric Francois history:

Is known for his masks, his deep dark designs and of course his history in fashion.

Eymeric Francois is a guest member that is part of the Paris “Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture”,  He trained under couture designer Thierry Mugler.

The Geisha collection was a deep feeling of nostalgia, as if you were taken back in time and a reveal of gorgeous dark garments were presented to you. You couldn’t look away, the mystery of his designs just made you feel like seeing more…and not missing a beat.

The message behind the runway line is about women, A woman knows who she is and what she wants.

We captured the unique fabrics, the details of the lace and the presence of “Geisha”
